I, myself, am not particularly affected nor hurt about what these haters say, because I know in myself that I have a good reason for my beliefs. I think that this is a really petty issue and it’s sad that a lot of animosity and hate rooted from such a trivial thing. I’ve seen friendships drift apart and several quarrels due to this… and for what? SRSLY GUISE.

Personally, I do not like conflict and this has been one of the reasons why I kept my mouth shut all this time; but I guess it has come to a point wherein I just can’t bear to become a mere bystander anymore. OTP issue set aside, what really saddens me is the fact that I get to see my fellow OTP shippers getting bashed for shipping a pairing that some people don’t deem as “appropriate” whatsoever. As to what standards they base the “authenticity” of the only pairings that we are allowed to ship without being called delusional, I will never know. If there are guidelines, please do enlighten me.

I live in a democratic country and I thought that if the internet were one, it would be a democracy as well. Aren’t we supposed to be free here!? I guess a lot of people forgot this. The internet is an outlet for me to express myself through writing, and well, spazzing in general. But what good is it if I can’t even do so without others criticizing just about every asdfjkl; I make. What happened to freedom of speech and all those shit? It’s applicable to any other thing but not to OTP shipping? Oh I can totally see the injustice. 

I, for one, do not have many friends who are into K-POP irl and tbh, the internet is a haven. I know a lot of K-POP fans can relate. The internet is the only place where we can let loose and mingle with new found friends who supposedly understand us. Apparently, this isn’t the case anymore. 

People  go on ranting left and right about how racism sucks and that judging a person through one’s race/nationality is unnacceptable and preposterous and all kinds of horrible; but the way I see it, the discrimination against a certain group of OTP shippers may as well be racism. And the generalization… come on! Didn’t this issue settle itself in the past already? 

Before you call someone delusional (a favorite word to some, as I see it), know what the word entails first. Accusing someone of a psychiatric disorder - yeah, not cool.

Opinions are healthy - an exercise for the brain, if I may say. If there is something that one is entitled to have - it would have to be his/her own opinions. It is a basic human right. Imposing your opinions on other people? Not so much. Your rights end where mine starts. 

SRSLY, this is no better than fandom wars. Just… stop. PLEASE.

Respect goes a long way. Any adult in his/her right mind could understand that. If you still don’t, then… GROW UP.

P.S.: Sometimes, being delusional is the only way to hold on to our sanity. The world’s so fucked up as it is - a momentary escape is only appropriate.
